Halesworth Scarecrow Weeks is now in its 10th year. Shops and businesses will be vying to be crowned best scarecrow and its down to the children of Halesworth and surrounding villages to decide who is the winner. There are TWO Treasure Trails. The first is a traditional trail, and shops and businesses around the town will have letters hidden in their window which put together will make the names of traditional fairy tales. All correct entries will be entered into the prize draw and the winner will have the chance to switch on the Christmas lights on November 23rd plus a cash prize of £50. There will also be prizes for the runners up. The second Treasure Trail uses the free What 3 Words app to give you the location of 'golden pumpkins' - collect the letters on the pumpkins and rearrange them into the name of a children's book. Correct entries will be entered into a prize draw and the winner will receive £50. Entry forms cost £1 and are available from Edwards Restaurant and Halesworth Library. All funds raised go towards the fund for Halesworth Christmas lights.
