Join Culford for the highlight of the 2018 summer season, where London Festival Opera returns to Culford School for another stunning programme of opera, this year featuring staged highlights in costume from Verdi’s masterpiece La Traviata, which was first performed at La Fenice in Venice in 1853. In Part Two, the evening will continue with celebrated arias from the operas of Mozart, Rossini, Bizet and Puccini ending with a patriotic Last Night of the Proms Finale. The performance will be accompanied by a select instrumental chamber ensemble. London Festival Opera brings together artists who have appeared with the major opera companies including the Royal Opera, English National Opera and Glyndebourne Festival Opera. London Festival Opera has performed throughout the UK and Europe including as a guest company at La Fenice in Venice.
