The Apex’s Songbook Sundays have a new home for 2017 - this popular series of Sunday jazz events will now take place in the regal setting of The Athenaeum’s ballroom, and continue to feature the Chris Ingham Trio with special guest singers from the world of jazz. With a delicious buffet Brunch available, Songbook Sundays are relaxed and informal - what Sundays were made for! Sunday 19 February Tammy Weis: The Music of Julie London "She’s the real deal…" - Time Out "Isn’t she great! Now there’s a vocalist" - Michael Buble Born in Canada and London-based, Tammy is an established songwriter and was nominated as Best Jazz Vocalist in 2010. For February's Songbook Sunday, she applies her celebrated intimate singing to the songs associated with "the girl with the come hither voice", Julie London.
