Screen-on-Sea Southwold

Date: 24 June 2017
Time: 11:00
- 18:00
Location: Corner of High Street and Victoria Street, Southwold, IP18 6DJ

Brought to you by Cambridge Film Trust, Screen-on-Sea is celebrating our rich moving image heritage of the coast and sea. As part of the Southwold Arts Festival, Screen-on-sea’s pop up ‘cinema’ will be showing footage reflecting both the resort and local industry. See 1930s Southwold as an elegant holiday destination for the Harrison family, who spent their days at the beach hut, at the yacht pond or riding along the coast – in true style. Or catch up with drinkers in the Sole Bay pub in 1963 as they savour their pints of Adnams and pass comment on their taste for beer. http://www.britainonfilmscreenings.org.uk/project/screen-on-sea/
