Ipswich Chamber Choir, the Choristers of St. Mary-le-Tower Church and the Ravenscroft Consort come together to sing Monteverdi's most famous work with accomplished soloists: Emma Walshe (soprano), Rhiannon Humphreys (soprano), Tom Raskin (tenor), Jonathan Hanley (tenor), Rupert Reid (bass), and Nicholas Ashby (bass). Tickets: £12 (under-18s free), available from choir members or from Music World, Queen's St. Ipswich. The concert is followed by a reception at The Ipswich and Suffolk Club, with a hot and cold finger buffet - tea and coffee and a cash bar will also be available. Tickets for this are £10.
